IS@B Oktoberfest 2009 - sign up ASAP!
Join our traditional trip to Munich and have a blast at this year's Oktoberfest!
We are leaving by bus from Milan on Friday, September 25th, evening, travelling during the night and getting to Munich in the morning. There you will have the whole day to do whatever you like: you can stay at the Oktoberfest or go to the city. The bus is picking us up in the evening and taking us to a hotel. On Sunday, September 27th, we take off for Milan.
Upcoming sign-up sessions:
THURSDAY September 3rd from 3pm to 4.15pm
MONDAY September 7th from 10.30am to 12.30
TUESDAY September 8th from 3.30pm to 4.15pm
THURSDAY September 10th from 10.30am to 12.30
All sign up sessions will take place in the main building (Via Sarfatti 25) in one of the boxes (punti studio) on the ground floor (in front of rooms A, B, C and D).
Please bring your student ID and 125 Euros in cash.

Stramilano marathon with IS@B - to make the economy run again!
IS@B Sports is happy to announce that our association is going to participate at Stramilano 2009. We are planning to have a group of 15 people who run the Stramilano stretch of 10 kms, on the 5th of April, 2009. Please find more details on registration on our Facebook event!
The first 15 members who are going to confirm their participation with the team will receive a free IS@B t-shirt, so be quick!

Design the official IS@B T-Shirt and WIN A FREE TRIP!
IS@B is planning to design its very own merchandise! We want to create an original T-shirt, but also hoodies, and, why not, cups, stickers and other stuff bearing IS@B artwork. YOU have the chance to design the IS@B artwork for us, and we will select the best one.
The rules of the competition are as follows:
- You are NOT allowed to use the Bocconi logo or the name "Bocconi" in very large characters for copyright reasons. Focus on IS@B or "International Students at Bocconi"!
- Try not to use too many colours, as this can turn out to be very expensive!
- Think about a design for both front and back and clearly specify layout and size!
- Send a JPG file with the logo and specifications to sara.isatb(at)gmail.com by Thursday, March 12th.
The winner will be announced on Monday, March 16th, during our aperitivo at YoUnite café, and he/she will be entitled to a FREE TRIP (plus, obviously, a free sample of the new merchandise once it is printed) with IS@B during this semester.

Seasons' Greetings and new IS@B News team
The Fall 2009 semester is finally coming to an end and we would like to wish all the best to our Exchange students who are leaving Milan during these days. Thank you for heating up our parties and events with your cosmopolitan smiles!
We all experienced many positive changes during the past few months and some of these changes are occuring right in the heart of our organization: a new, dedicated, editorial unit will be taking charge of our successful IS@B News bi-weekly student paper.

Need some fresh distraction? Dance your time away with us!
IS@B is arranging special evening dance classes taught in English, at super discount prices. Are you interested to start this September/October, especially if classes will be held on Mondays and/or Wednesdays?
Master exciting Latin American dances such as spicy Salsa, sensual Bachata and Merengue, in addition to a special course for Dance Flexibility & Body Training.

IS@B cultural afternoon at Pinacoteca di Brera
IS@B invites you to a relaxing and interesting afternoon together at the world famous Pinacoteca di Brera, where Valeria and Vittorio will guide you through the galleries of Italian paintings from all centuries.
